Really Chocolate Breeze Dreams!

This is the card I made for today's color challenge over at scs...

We had to use the colors: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze & Really Rust...

Isn't the color combo just perfect for this time of year??
I did emboss the image to dress it up a bit and I love the feel with the contrast of the colors and distressing.

Thanks for looking!

Wow Wednesday Technique Sneak Peak

Don't you just love how the spotlight technique adds the perfect touch to this card as a beautiful moonlight sky?
This is one of the cards we will be making for my upcoming WOW Technique Class. The card uses the moonlighting technique which is one of the 2 techniques we will focus on.

I do have to tell you, as much as I wish I had come up with this card on my own, I got the idea from last months "wicked" demo only challenge over at splitcoast stampers. Jan Tink created the original card and I made some slight changes. I just loved the idea too much not to just go with it!

If you are interested in attending this month's Wow Wednesday Technique Class, I still have room so contact me asap and join us for a fun evening while you learn 2 techniques... For additional class details, click here.

P.S. Don't worry if you can't make it, ask me about my "to go" option...... And make sure to reserve your spot for next months WOW Technique Class....

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Today Hannah celebrated her 9th birthday
with one of my class on the go parties!

After enjoying their pizza the girls sat down and got busy painting, gluing, stamping, coloring and just enjoying the creative process while hanging out with friends. We made these adorable 8x10 canvas wall hangings using some of the NEW Stampin' UP! Designer Papers...
Here is the sample I did for the girls to follow....
I have to say, one of my favorite things about doing classes is how each person (kid or adult) makes the art their own (even those who don't quite realize they are creative......)

If your looking to do something different for your next party........... Whether it be a creative kids party, mom's night out, what have you...Give me a call and we can plan a great creative project for you too! With so many options, there is definitely something you & your friends will enjoy...

It is not to early to start thinking about your Christmas Cards.....

When I saw this challenge color combo challange (CC185) over at Split Coast Stampers, I knew this Winter Post stamp set was the perfect choice. The idea is to create a card using the colors Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Very Vanilla. Can I just tell you, I absolutely love this NEW Stampin' UP! Winter Post set from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog..... It is definitely one of my new favorites!!!
I used my water color wonder crayons to color in the image and then to top it off I used the cracked glass technique to accent the image. The card is pretty straight forward and I like the softness of it........ What do you think?

Stamps: Stampin' Up! Winter Post & Season of Joy
Paper: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla Card stock;
Ski Slope Designer Series Paper
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black
Accessories: Baja Breeze 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Water color Wonder Crayons & Glassy Glaze Enamel

Bella Rose Designer Paper Gift Bag

I have been seeing these adorable bags all over the Internet lately.... There is even a great tutorial that you can view here: Cambria's Blog Needless to say, I just had to try my hand at making one. I used the new Stampin' UP! Bella Rose Designer Paper and let me tell you I am having a blast with this assortment..... I also dipped into my pretties kit. I just love how easy it was to water color the plain white flower so that I would have this lovely shade of pink that coordinates perfectly with my project. You should definitely take a moment and try making one of these great bags for yourself..... It was so quick and easy, I'm sure you'll love it too........... Now all I have to do is fill it with some candy and give it away..... hmmm??
